Smile Corvette Series Final Event Moved to Oct 17

We received official confirmation from GO Transit today to move the final event in the 2004 Corvette Autoslalom Series from Oct 3rd to Oct 17th.

The event is open to all makes of cars. Vehicles must be licensed for road use and be adequately muffled. Details are as follows:

Date: Oct 17th, 2004
Price: $35
Registration: 9 to 10 am
Drivers' Meeting: 10:15 am
First Run: approx. 10:30 am

Location: Bronte GO Station, Oakville
Directions: Note that the 3rd Line exit off the QEW is under construction and may be closed. The easiest route to take is QEW to Bronte Rd. South on Bronte Rd. to Wyecroft Rd. (first road south of QEW). East on Wyecroft Rd. The Bronte GO Station lot is the south (right) side about 1 km from Bronte Rd.
[Alternatively, the Dorval Rd. exit can be taken off the QEW and then follow the South Service Rd. or Wyecroft (? not entirely sure what it is called there) west.]

The Bronte GO Station parking lot is one of the biggest and smoothest available in southern Ontario. The course should be fairly open, flowing and challenging. We always get lots of runs in.

Hope to see you there,

Too bad. The weather was looking good for Sunday. Hopefully this weather continues and the 17th is just as nice. I guess I'll have to go watch the Shootout.
