Question Removal of window tint

Has anyone here ever removed their window tint? Is this is straightforward process, or should I get a pro to do it?

Already on pole, he went faster and faster and was eventually over two seconds quicker than Prost in an identical McLaren. "Suddenly, it frightened me," Ayrton said, "because I realised I was well beyond my conscious understanding. I drove back slowly to the pits and did not go out anymore that day."

I removed very cheap tint from my Honda. The type you put on yourself. I used a heat gun and a razor blade scraper. It came off very easy but use a mask, it stinks.

Yeah - basically separate the plastic film from the glue with heat, then use whatever means to remove the old glue.

Goop Off (or it's knock off: Goff Off) and a razor seems to work well on old glue.

i've removed darktint of the side windows..

use a razor blade, a spray bottle with water

you'll be able to get the film off in strips, but spray the
glue with the water bottle and use the razor blade to scrap
of the residue

do it yourself.. its a no brainer

Windex also helps instead of a water bottle. The windex helps to break down the 'goop'

Be careful if the rear window is done and there's a rear-defroster... more tricky... and MAY come off in strips as well...

I used brake cleaner to get the tint-glue off a window once, and with a scraper, it worked quite well.

I love brake cleaner...
