Touring GT at Mosport Sept. 2-4

I have a few questions about this race. I currently run an SCCA ITA Sentra.
I was wondering if I could run this car at this race being that I will most likely be crewing for a WC driver and be there already and I watched last year and it seemed like a blast ?

Would my SCCA national Liscense transfer over?

How much would it cost?

Would I be able to run my normal tires (Hoosiers) instead of Toyo's?

Most likely my car wouldn't be very competitive considering I did the weight calculator correctly I am about 500lbs over weight but what better way to drive a track than to race at it. Any other info on forms that would have to be filled out or misc. stuff would be appreciated.

Thanks

Your SCCA license would be accepted, but you must run on TOYO's.

The entry fees have not been set yet, but the series registration is $200 CAN.

Not sure on the entry fee... but you may have to talk a bit with the series organizers, but I'm sure they'd let you play - I'm in there turning 1m42s laps in my Jetta - and so are other near to stock 1.8l Sentras turning 1m45ish laps.

If the car is a 2.0l 16V SE-R then you are likely going to have a great time.

You must run Toyos - unless of course they run a 'special GT' class again this year - then it's a run whatcha brung class.

Your SCCA National level license is accepted here.

Who would I have to talk to about entry?

John Bondar would most likely be your best bet if that is your only race in the series - you may be able to work something out better than the 200$ series entry fee plus the event entry - good luck...

Joe:

It would be great to have you here. We are looking forward to putting on another fabulous show. As a starting point, I suggest that you take a look at the rules under the Bulletins/Rules Section of our website. I understand that the SCCA IT classified cars will fit into our format. (until Microys analyzes them and provides the exceptions!) Maybe there are others that want to come up for the long weekend.

As a courtesy to our sponsors, you will be required to run our full decal package. We can provide you with that as we get closer to the event. The entry fee for the event has not been set as of yet but it is usually quite reasonable.

Look forward to competing against you.

Your comments are always welcome.
