Re: Joining a Club to enter Solossprint school, lapping days and or Solosprint series

You just need to join one club to go to any SoloSprint event.

If you want to go to 4 events all run by 4 diff clubs, thats and extra $200+ you spent.

Not to mention the end of year club membership stats are all screwy because you only joined to get access to an event.

Why don't we have a anuall CASC membership card that cost say $100/yr that allows you access to any club sponsored events or something like this.

Just my 0.02c.
I started this thread to help out someone new to Solosprint events, schools and lapping days.
You don’t have to join more then one club to do all of these.
I does not matter which club holds an event, as long as you belong to a club.
I mentioned Tac and Omsc cause they are the main clubs involved in Solosprint.
Omsc seams to have the most lapping days and dyno days
I listed Omsc lapping days that you get a discount to if you an Omsc member but any club person can come to these events at a little extra cost.
So if you in east verses west end they make the most sense.
There is many other clubs that has been mention earlier in this thread but are not as involved in Solosprint
I was trying to be specific to Solosprint.
If you doing Regional racing then the list gets bigger.

Re: Joining a Club to enter Solossprint school, lapping days and or Solosprint series.

Well.....I am kinda' using this as a stepping stone to regional racing in 2007. It gives me seat time and a chance to develope my MR2 the way I want it. I will be out at the Open House to meet all of you that I have had the pleasure of chatting with on this forum. I roadraced about 25 years ago...( yes they had cars then ) before marrying...having a house, kids, dogs.....you get the picture. I want to go door handle to door handle....without touching, bumping, rubbing or whatever you NASCAR fans call it.

ROAD RACING........is there anything else !?!?!?!?!!?
