Lots of good battles this year, it made for a really fun final event!

I want to thank PMSC for a great event once more. I think that PMSC has the friendliest and most inviting group of solo people in Ontario. I always love attending this event if for no other reason than enjoy the best hospitality in the schedule.

Plus this year I actually liked the course!

I'll second that, great job to Robb and Wendy and Wes the season was a success as one could tell by the large turnouts every event(maybe we should limit the # of bss cars allowed?just kidding, loved the competition!!).I look forward to the shootout in the longshot that I'm one of the "B" guys to beat the hell out of one of the wrx's.
Thanks again to all the close and sometimes not so close competition that helped to keep me humble(I'd hate to be known as "the other cocky racing guy").
See everyone at the shootout from the nuclear butterscotch corolla guy!

Thanks to ALL the competitors for making this season a success. Without the competitors, there would be no series!

A BIG, BIG, thanks to all the organizing clubs! Dispite some problems due to the overwelming numbers of competitors at most of the events and the learning curve that Robb, Wendy and I went throught this year (hopefully with lessons learned), the clubs deserve most if not all the credit, for hosting great events.

My poor CRX had close to 3000km put on it this year driving across most of the eastern and southern end of this province, making this year more of a truly Ontario Regional season than ever(next stop North Bay or Sudbury?????).

Ryan, it was a pleasure battling til the bitter end, right down to the last run of the last event. Great job, good fun and great competition this year.

A congratulations needs to go out to all the class winners and overall winner (yet to be officially announced but I here that some people already know who won overall due to the calculators and brainstorming at the end of the event yesterday) and all of the competitors that made the trek to all or most of the events this year.

GREAT FUN! I hope that everyone will be out for the shootout, the banquet and, of course, next season!

Stay tuned for the results!

First off, I'd like to apologize to the mass group of people I shouted at yesterday. To those who didn't have the guts or balls to speak up during the drivers meeting, my comment still stands.

I appreciate the support I receieved from a number of competitors and am disappointed in the hassle I got from some others. To everyone else, thanks for not getting involved.

As I understand it, no one protested me in the end anyhow. So I went through all that grief for nothing.

Also as I understand it, Robb sanctioned the mod duiring the drivers meeting where only one person indicated some displeasure with the situation in the interest of precedence but let it go for the time being. Problem is he started back up ten seconds after the drivers meeting disbanded. However, even though after the meeting just before the event began I was told I was going to be protested by multiple people, and I shouted my comment, no one formally protested (in time anyhow). Where's the backbone?

Ultimately I don't know whether I'll be scored in my normal class for yesterday or not. I'm assuming so based on what the people who make the decisions told me. I guess we'll see.

I'm a little disappointed in the whole way it went, that includes myself as well. If I thought for a minute that anyone was actually going to have a problem with it, I'd have come on my street tires, or not come at all. I guess I misjudged the competitiveness of the others. Anyhow, I'm sorry for the comment. I explained the comment to those that seemed to give a shit and ask me about the situation. Sorry about my general disposition (i.e. grouchy), I wasn't expecting any friction.

I thought the Director's comments and ruling during the drivers meeting should have been the end of it.

At least the people who it directly effected spoke to me directly at every turn.

I suppose it's partially my fault for not doing either of the 3 other events to have some in the can to protect or ensure a class win. The circumstances for me, the tires and the other car that would have transported my tires to the site caused a unique situation where I was hoping I'd get sympathy and/or understanding.

Anyhow with that bad apple out of the way.

Thanks very much to Wes and Robb for organizing one heck of a regional series. The competitor numbers were insane. The Peterborough guys ran a pretty good event and made great use of the lot they had. I quite enjoyed the layout, flowed well. 5 runs is always nice! The photos they handed out during the 3rd run was a nice touch also.

Nice to see a number of competitors swapping rides at the end too.

Taylor sorry to hear about all the stuff I didn't, I thought that was it after the drivers meeting. Obviously it wouldn't effect my class so I wasn't worried about losing points to you hehehe.

The swapping cars after was really fun, Thanks again to Steven Tong for allowing me to try his Miata out. "It's set up to oversteer" he says, that was really fun I think I will have to get a small rear wheel drive car some day.

I want to thank everbody as well for makng my first season so much fun, I learned alot.
and thanks to Wes for showing me what my car can really do
Special thanks to Wes, Wendy, Rob, Stephen and everybody else who made the events run, good or bad it takes alot of effort to pull it off and run smoothly, even when things aren't going your way.
Taylor, sorry to hear about your troulbles, and I agree, the time was given during the drivers meeting to settle the situation, once the meeting finished and nobody protested, that should have been the end of it.
Oh well it was still a great event and capped off a great year, see you at the Shootout....

Hey Ryan,if your looking for a small rear wheel drive car mines not sold yet,you could move up with(I don't know if its a move up or not?)Wes and who knows maybe even me again next year.I've had a lot of interest but no cash yet and I'm a very motivated seller.
B.T.W. I watched Stephen running your car as I was packing up,would you care to share the time he ran and the time you ran in his miata?.I ran Robb's car and was 2 seconds slower than his best time, but I forgot what it was like to drive a car from both sides of cars interior!!(we have to push for proper seats to be allowed with no prep points, better control less upper body workout!).
So who about Ryan want to try cornering on all 4 wheels for a change?.

Congrats to Rob and Wes for all their efforts to make this season great. With good turnouts, competitive battles, things only look promising for the future of the series.

Good Work Guys!!!!

PS, sorry I couldn't make it to the last event. I'm still uncertain if I will attend the shootout or for that matter, race next season. Have a great time guys!

Tom if I had the money I would have tried to make a deal with you but I don't really make money I just skim by the surface and manage to have enough to pay for the small thing that I can. Steve ran a 61.3xx and Wes ran a 61.090. I ran my best at the last run and it was a 61.270 so I think these two guys are awesome drivers. Oh and I ran a 61.330 in Steves car man was that ever fun.

Now that you mention it, Wes was pretty quick in the Dwarf too. Hmm, could there be an upset in the Shoot Out this year?
