Details

Interior
• really nice shape - no burn holes, no fading, no stains

Body
• slight evidence of overspray on front bumper
• body not absolutely flawless
• unmatched paint between passenger side rear quarter and door

Running
• runs very well, tracks straight
• brakes make slight rubbing sound - more of an annoyance than anything
• feels pretty tight and solid

History
Car was bought late 05 to replace the Civic as a winter/race car. When I brought it home I noticed black deposits on the bumper, and that it burned a lot of oil. I had the car taken to Kensai and had the engine replaced with a fully built GSR block. The tranny was also toast, but I had a GSR tranny with a cracked case and good internals to repair. With the built engine I had driven it into the winter, but the piston slapping sound was worrying me too much to drive it, so it was parked until the summer.

Last fall I replaced the short block with an OEM one which was refreshed with new bearings by Gord Bush, and put the original head back on. It's been milled, so fuel pressure is up to compensate. It runs but would be happier with a thick head gasket.

Pricing - 13,500 - certified - emissions done last January.

I want to get rid of this car. I've had enough. I've spent over 26k on it after all is said and done, and have no desire to continue. The problems have been ironed out, but it's taken me too long to get to this point. I'm going to be moving to a new place with limited parking, so it's gotta go. Once this is gone the fire sale of the rest of the stuff will begin.
