Registration is open for the BARC-OC Canadian Touring Trophy Races, being held on July 28 & 29 at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park.

A fixture on the Ontario motorsport scene for more than fifty years, this years edition includes points races in a the CASC-OR sanctioned championships plus a very special invitational race.

- Pirelli GT Sprints
- Pirelli GT Challenge
- Toyo Tires F1600
- CASC-OR Formula Libre
- VARAC Classic

In addition, there will be non-championship races for the VARAC Vintage/Historic Group, and one very special invitational race.

Lubrico Warranty and BARC are pleased to announce an sponsorship agreement for a special feature race to be held as part of BARC’s Canadian Touring Trophy Races weekend at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park on July 28-29, 2018.

On July 29 we will be holding the Lubrico Warranty V8 Trophy, a 30 minute invitational race for V8 powered cars only. This race will showcase the ground pounding V8 machinery as well as the spirit of camaraderie and fun amongst the people who race them. It will be a non-points race open to any competitors already competing in one of the other GT classes in the event with a V8 powered car.

A big field is anticipated for this event. The V8 Road Race Series, a strong group of competitors running V8 GT cars throughout the Eastern US, have included this weekend as part of their points championship and will challenge the CASC Ontario Region V8 competitors for the race win and bragging rights.

Registration is open at http://msreg.com/BARC-CTTR-18

Regulations, eligibility, and how to enter are available through the BARC and CASC Ontario Region websites, and as always complimentary event tickets will be available for the event via the CASC-OR website.

Finally, in a nod to the "old days" we're planning to hold a dinner for workers, competitors and crew on Saturday evening - everyone who's registered for the event! There are some questions on the competitor registration form asking if you're going to join us and how many there are in your crew - we hope you'll take us up on the invite - the more the merrier!

Circle this weekend on your calendar, and bring your earplugs!
