Last Saturday, April 13, we held the 2024 Ice Racing Banquet and Awards Ceremony at the the Royal Ashburn Golf Club just north of Oshawa. Thanks to Elaine Willis for organizing a great event. There was an excellent meal, historic videos, a trivia contest, and we recognized our 2024 Class Champions.
Recognizing that not everyone was able to attend, we have posted the Award Presentation on the CASC-OR website. Congratulations to all of our winners, and everyone that participated in Ice Racing this year.
Planning is under way for the 2025 Ice Racing Series, with two meetings booked this summer. Both are "open" to anyone interested in attending the video calls. Save these links (don't click them now or you will be waiting a very LONG time...)
New for the 2025 season, we are creating the position of "Promotions
Manager" - someone to arrange for sponsors and the promotion of the Ice Racing Series. If you are interested please try and attend one or both of the summer meetings, or contact me directly for more information.
