I have been active in motorsport since the ‘70’s. For a time I was the event race registrar with my club, starter, marshal and a clerk of the course. In 2002 when Laura Schmidt decided to step down as Race Division’s Registrar, I decided to give it a go and have been looking after the entries since. When CASC-OR was looking for a Treasurer I decided that perhaps it was my turn.
How did I get interested in racing? Both of my parents were very active in the sport and I spent many weekends at events. While I am a life member of BEMC, I enjoy helping other clubs when and where I can. I have tried auto slalom and ice racing – both were great fun.
