Registration is now open for the SMP Cup - the first of the 3 event Motomaster Track Master Series. Run groups include Pirelli Super Touring, Pirelli Grand Touring, Toyo Tire F1600 Championship, Formula Libre and the Super Production Challenge out of Quebec. This will be the largest car race held at Shannonville Motorsport Park this year. You do not want to miss it.
The track has completed a great deal of surface refinishing during the off season and I am told it is much smoother and MUCH MUCH quicker. As a result there will be no BREAK OUT times applied during PRACTICE and QUALIFYING for Pirelli Super Touring and Grand Touring run groups. We will use the results of these two sessions to decide whether or not we need to adjust the BREAK OUT times before the races start in the afternoon.
The provisional schedule and Supp Regs have been posted HERE. Make sure you print copies and bring them with you - we will not be handing them out to competitors at the track.
Saturday evening there will be live entertainment in the paddock - plan to attend.
Remember, to be eligible for the Motomaster Track Master designation and Championship you MUST run at all three race tracks this summer. This is the first of three - the next will be BARC's Canadian Touring Trophy Races July 29 -30 and OSCC's Calabogie Summer Classic August 19 - 20. Plan to attend all three!
