It has come to our attention that it is now possible to purchase "knock-off" safety belts from otherwise reputable suppliers. Effective immediately, all safety belts must be clearly marked with the manufacturer's information, as well as the standard FIA/SFI disclosure labels.
There will not be any "one event waivers" issued for these belts. If found in your car, you will not be permitted on track. (Sorry folks, but with no proof of manufacturer label there is no way for CASC-OR to know if the belts are compliant with the regulations, thereby voiding our insurance).
While I have your attention on safety matters, 2010 helmets expire on Dec 31, 2023. 2015 Helmets expire Dec 31, 2025. Make sure your helmet will be compliant for the 2024 road racing season.
