TORONTO, ON – For years, Inside Track Motorsport News has been the leader when it comes to coverage of the Canadian Automobile Sport Clubs – Ontario Region (CASC-OR) – the official sanctioning body of motorsports in Ontario – covering its events, reporting on its news and publishing profiles on its racers.

Now, it’s official.

Starting immediately, Inside Track Motorsport News (ITMN) will be recognized as the Official Print Media Partner of CASC-OR, which oversees road racing, Time Attack, Autoslalom and ice racing in the province. To reciprocate, ITMN will work even closer with CASC-OR and its racers to deliver unique and interesting editorial about all of the organization’s classes, events, history, racers and personalities, in print and across all of the media company’s platforms.

Inside Track will also present a significant sponsorship program, which will benefit racers in all CASC-OR classes. Inside Track decals will appear on all vehicles taking part in CASC-OR sanctioned events. ITMN will also actively promote the participation of CASC-OR’s sponsors.

To further enhance the partnership, all CASC competition and officials license holders will now become subscribers to Inside Track Motorsport News, beginning with the May 2019 issue, courtesy of ITMN and CASC-OR. In addition to editorial content, CASC will speak to its members and the racing public through Inside Track, its website and associated social media feeds.

Speaking about the new relationship between CASC-OR and Inside Track, co-publisher David Weber said, “This is the natural extension of a mutually beneficial relationship that has existed for years. CASC-OR events, news and racer profiles have been an editorial priority of our magazine since it was first published back in 1997.

“We believe the majority of CASC-OR racers were already regular Inside Track readers, but this makes it 100%. Thank you to CASC-OR President Gunter Schmidt for putting this agreement in place. The result will benefit their racers and sponsors. We’re fully committed to making anyone who has an interest in CASC-OR racing excited to think about the next issue of Inside Track arriving in their mailboxes.”

CASC-OR will also continue to have a prominent presence at the Motorama Custom Car & Motorsports Expo, which takes place each March at Toronto’s International Centre. The show – which is owned by Inside Track’s parent company – is the unofficial kick-off starting the Canadian racing season.

Discussing the news, CASC-OR President Gunter Schmidt said, “Regional racing is a very well-kept secret of Canadian motorsports. People don’t realize that amateur motorsports is thriving in Ontario, with road racing, ice racing, time attack and auto slalom events all coming under CASC sanctioning. Drivers like Paul Tracy, Scott Goodyear, Ludwig Heimrath, Ron Fellows and many other high-profile competitors started their racing career by competing in CASC-OR sanctioned events.

“By partnering with Inside Track Motorsport News, we hope to increase our exposure to, and for, the competitors, sponsors, volunteers and racing fans on a more permanent basis. Through Inside Track, we will enjoy enhanced coverage of our events, with more in-depth reports, stories and profiles.”

In addition to the aforementioned subscriptions for those holding CASC-OR competition and officials licenses, Inside Track will also offer special discounted 'Friends and Family' subscription pricing to all other CASC members, their family members and close associates.

To take advantage of this opportunity, these individuals can click HERE or go to InsideTrackNews.com, click on the 'SUBSCRIBE' tab at the top of the page, and then use promo code CASC2019 to sign up for a one-year ($15) or two-year ($25) subscription to Inside Track Motorsport News.
