Montreal, April 17, 2023 - Sports Development Group - ASN Canada is proud to announce the appointment of Elise Racette as General Manager. Elise's experience in Canadian motorsport will certainly be an asset in achieving the goals and new mission of GDS. A rally co-driver since 1999, Elise has made a name for herself as head of the pit lane technical team for the Formula 1 Grand Prix of Canada and more recently as President of 
the ACIND since 2020. 
The mission of GDS is to establish and develop a national structure for motor racing in Canada by engaging with each affiliated organization to create a marketable and sustainable avenue for development and growth for the various disciplines of motor racing. "I have been following Elise's career since she arrived at the Canadian Grand Prix in 2001. I am confident that she will embody the values of the ASN Canada Sports Development Group and will guide us towards the success of our mission," said Mr. Dumontier. Sports Development Group (GDS) is the National Sporting Authority (ASN) for motor racing in Canada, designated by the International Automobile Federation (FIA). Responsibilities include FIA regulatory initiatives as well as national and international racing licenses.
