The following products are not to be used:

1. Any Racing Harness with no manufacturer identification (Power Fist)

2. SFI is aware of driver suits being falsely represented as certified to SFI specification 3.2A through
images appearing as SFI conformance labels via a Facebook page by Trax Racewear LLC. Trax
Racewear LLC is not enrolled in the SFI 3.2A or 3.4 (Driver Suits) programs.

3. SFI has discovered TANAKA driver restraint assemblies falsely represented as certified to SFI
specification 16.1 and currently being sold through Ebay and Amazon. TANAKA was removed
from the SFI 16.1 program in January of 2019 due to testing failures and unauthorized use of SFI
labels. TANAKA does not have the legal right to use the SFI logo, term, or label. TANAKA
products do not conform to SFI specification 16.1.

4. KYOSTAR is not enrolled in any SFI program. SFI Specification 16.1 requires the certifying
manufacturer’s name to appear on the harness, even when sold as a different brand under a
private label agreement. The only brand visible on this harness is KYOSTAR. Item sold through
EBay.

5. SFI has found driver suits and accessories sold by Speedsy Racewear which bear counterfeit SFI
labels stating that the manufacturer certifies that their products meet the applicable SFI Specs.
A suit was found to have a counterfeit level 20 label, but very thin construction not capable of
providing level 20 protection. Also, single layer gloves were found to have level 15 counterfeit
labels. In each case this represents dangerously substandard levels of protection.

6. Please note that SFI has found Driver Suits manufactured by STANJ International which are
falsely represented as certified to SFI Specification 3.2A, some of which bear counterfeit SFI
labels. STANJ International is not now and has never been enrolled in the SFI 3.2A (Driver Suits)
program.

7. Please note that SFI has found harnesses sold by Sickspeed which bear counterfeit SFI labels
stating that the manufacturer certifies that their products meet the applicable SFI Specs.
Sickspeed harnesses have not been submitted for testing by SFI, and Sickspeed is not enrolled in
any SFI program.

8. Please note that SFI has found harnesses sold by Slapco which bear counterfeit SFI labels stating
that the manufacturer certifies that their products meet the applicable SFI Specs. Slapco
harnesses have not been submitted for testing by SFI, and Slapco is not enrolled in any SFI
program.
