How to become a CASC-OR Steward Workshop 11 am Jan 18
This event is intended to introduce the role of Steward to CASC-OR affiliated club members who may be interested or considering serving as officials at various CASC-OR and club motorsport events. The event will be led by Richard Muise, CASC-OR's Chief Steward, who will describe the role Stewards play at every motorsport event, why it's important, and the duties and powers of the Stewards to ensure that the applicable regulations are both followed and enforced fairly and impartially.
While there are no pre-requisites to attend, all those attending should read the CASC-OR General Competition Rules, available on the CASC-OR website, to help familiarize themselves with the subject. Link to GCR's: CASC-OR GCR

2026 Ice Racing Series
The 2026 Ice Racing series is scheduled to start on Jan 17 with the Pre-Tech day. Race weekends start Jan 24 and (weather permitting) will run until February 28. All of the events are open on motorsportreg so register today!

2026 Road Racing Series
All of the events for the 2026 Road Racing Series are open on motorsportreg. Register today!
New for 2026:
1. the BARC event on July 25 - 26 is now called the Open Wheel Invitation and is for open-wheeled race cars only
2. we have added a new event to the calendar on June 27 - 28, the weekend immediately after the VARAC Vintage Grand Prix, primarily for closed wheel race cars (to make up for taking the BARC away from you)
3. Joining us in 2026 is a new series called Performance Cup Canada. This is for touring cars and features a power to weight bracketing system. They will have a 20 minute practice/qualifying session on Saturday, with a single 40 minute race, as well as a single 40 minute race on Sunday.
4. We have created "series registrations" on motorsportreg for the Pirelli GT Sprints, the Miata Canada Cup, the Formula Prototype Sprints, and for Formula Classic. Their purpose is to improve our ability to communicate directly with the racers in each of our run groups.
