I hope that everyone is just about ready to ICE RACING!
PRE-TECH:
Pre-Tech is this weekend and there are still a lot spaces left for those who want to have their cars
teched before the first event you want to run at. If you have not signed up yet and want to here is
the link: http://msreg.com/2023-Pre-Tech
To help the Scrutineers out with the tech, please bring your filled out Tech Form with you. Here is
the link to a fillable pdf: https://www.casc.on.ca/sites/default/files/Documents/TECH_SHEET
Licenses:
If you have not already applied for your competition license please do so. You should apply online
via the Members Site (link: https://members.casc.on.ca/). You can renew your club membership
(for most clubs) and apply for your license at the same time. Remember that your club membership
must be current for your license to be valid.
Waivers:
As most of you are aware, paper waivers are no longer acceptable by our insurance carrier. We are
using Speedwaiver. We have been able to put annual waivers (valid for ice racing) in place for
‘adults’ and minors. If you are planning on attending more than 1 event I suggest that you complete
the annual waiver. The waivers can be found at: https://cascoricerace.speedwaiver.com/.
You must be able to show proof of signing either the annual waiver or the event waiver when you
sign in at an event. This proof can be shown on your phone. If you do not want to remember where
you have stored your waiver, you can sign up to have a card printed to keep in your wallet. There is
a nominal fee of $5.00 for the card and it must be picked up at the track. If you are interested in
having a ‘hard card’ to show as proof of signing the annual waiver register here:
http://msreg.com/IR23-WCard . The cards can also be purchased for your passengers.
Events:
All the events are open for registration. You will not be charged at the time of registration if you
register early. Payments, in general, will be processed the Monday night before each event and
entries received after the Monday will be charged immediately.
If you register for an event early and you find that you are not able to attend, please either cancel
your registration via MotorsportReg or drop an email to Anne McCallum (raceregistrar@casc.on.ca)
before the Friday. If you have to cancel during the event, please contact the event registrar.
