2023 BEMC LSTR Provisional Schedule
Back in June, Event #1 (June 4th) was sold out (64 drivers) and day was progressing well until a car fire occurred in the 3rd (of 3) heats. Driver was not injured but the car (BMW 540i) has a lot of fire damage to the plastics. TRS was on hand to handle the situation but exhausted all fire fighting equipment they had as well as from BAST.
The 2023 CASC Autoslalom Championship took place on July 15-16th and was hosted by WOSCA. The event saw 57 competitors compete in both days of the event and the event was won by Andrew L of Barrie in his ES 2001 Mazda Miata. The club championship was won by TLMC.
Each day saw 70+ cars and the course was long, fast and flowing as it utilized an airport venue with the fastest times being 10 seconds over the 2 minute mark on the Saturday and just under the 2 minute mark when the course was reversed for Sunday.
