Scott Ellsworth has been an active participant in Ontario motorsports for more than 50 years. Starting in 1970 as a marshal with CRCA, Scott worked for years in CTA on timing and scoring. He then joined to BARC and has worked in race organization since the early '80's. He is a life member and past president of both CTA and BARC. He has been a long time member of the CASC Race Committee. Scott served as the president of CASC from 2006-2009. He has been on the CASC-OR Board since 2005 and is currently the Secretary of CASC-OR.

Corsa Ontario is a registered chapter of the Corvair Society of America (CORSA) and a member of CASC-OR. Corsa Ontario was established in 1973 by Paul Allison and John Corrigan with the intention of preserving and perpetuating interest in the Corvair. With members across the Ontario, Quebec, and New Brunswick.

Those who ventured out to the Minden Kinsmen Truck Pull on June 25th saw a couple of Ice Racers on display. Larry Laycock, Dustin Brown, and I were manning a display of Jim Carrell's Minden Collision Subaru and Dustin's Rural Wave, Consumer Tire, Butch's Amsoil, S.G. Machining Subaru.

UMN is a club of Miata (MX-5) faithful. While most of our 240 members are in the National Capital Region, our membership covers the Seaway and the Ottawa Valleys extending to Montreal.  Having fun together with our Miatas is the essence of our Club. Trips along twisty roads (either for a day or longer, or maybe just to have an ice cream) bring us joy. Safety is always paramount.

Had it not been for the British Empire Motor Club and its members, who organized major motorsports events and also helped to develop racing circuits such as Edenvale, Harewood Acres and Mosport Park, it is very likely that motorsport in Canada would not be as successful as it is today.

I have been active in motorsport since the ‘70’s.  For a time I was the event race registrar with my club, starter, marshal and a clerk of the course.  In 2002 when Laura Schmidt decided to step down as Race Division’s Registrar, I decided to give it a go and have been looking after the entries since.   When CASC-OR was looking for a Treasurer I decided that perhaps it was my turn.
