Pat has been involved in some form of racing for over 30 years. He started off riding and racing motocross, then worked for the Canadian Kawasaki Motocross Factory Team and eventually moved over to a Satellite Yamaha Team until 2009. Once he retired from the pro MX racing scene, he went back to racing and took up Rally & Rally X racing for a few years in the CARS and OPRC series 2010 -2014. After a few years off to raise his daughter, like any true racer he got the bug again and in 2019 bought a road race car. He fell in love immediately!

We are very sad to pass on the news Gunter Schmidt passed away last night, August 16, 2022, after a tough fight with illness over the last year.

The Ontario Z-Car Owners Association (OZC) is a network of enthusiasts dedicated to the preservation and enjoyment of the Nissan/Datsun Z Car through regularly scheduled meetings, newsletters, tours, swap meets, car shows and many other social events.
